A Prophetic Encouragement for 2025

On a personal level, let’s raise our expectations for the coming year. If we expect more from God, we will see it.  “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,”  (Ephesians 3:20 NIV) Journey through 2025 in faith. Don’t let fear or past disappointment stop us. There will be surprises. There will be wow moments. There will be breakthroughs. Let’s not stroll casually into the New Year but rather run into it with our spirits fuelled with the fire of faith. 

And not only expect more from God but also expect more of God.  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8a NKJV) We can have as little or as much of his presence and power as we want to. Do some things in 2025 to go the second mile in seeking him: a little more prayer; a little more worship; a little more fasting. Then get ready for him to draw near to us. And without faith it is impossible to please him. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 RSV) Knowing his presence in our lives brings security. The absence of his presence brings insecurity.

 
 

On a global level, there will continue to be shocks that awaken many that are the spiritually blind, and surprises that delight those that already see. It's going to be both a volatile year and an exciting year. God is shaking the Tower of Babel that the global, liberal elites have sought to build in recent decades. “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulders…Of the increase of His government and peace, there will be no end. (Isaiah 9:6a,7a NKJV) Jesus is in control.

And, in the midst of all the shakings, God will bring a great number of souls into his Kingdom. We may possibly see the greatest harvest in history in the years ahead. God will open a window of opportunity for the church to advance the Kingdom like never before. Across the earth, there is more prayer than ever before. And that prayer is increasingly shifting from only asking that our needs be met to asking that his kingdom come upon the earth.  

May you be blessed as you enter 2025, and may he increase your hunger for him, and your faith that he is in control, working all things together for good.
