Encounter The Father

EncounterTheFather.jpg

We live on an orphan planet. A spirit of fatherlessness seems to dominate upon the earth today.  It is evident within all spheres of society and sadly, even within the Church.  When Adam and Eve were ejected from the Garden of Eden, humankind walked into a world disconnected from Father God and his love. Humanity has been trying unsuccessfully to make its way back to him ever since, but only in Jesus Christ is there a way.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life,” claimed Jesus in John 14:6. “No one comes to the Father but through me.”   Many who have believed in Jesus know that they are children of God, and yet too many still live like orphans and slaves, viewing God as a master instead of a loving Father.

Our search for acceptance, identity, self-worth and inner peace can only be realised by a revelation in our hearts of the complete love the Father has for us. Next to the revelation that Jesus is our Saviour, this is the most important revelation we can ever have.

What Happens at the Seminar?

  • You will have powerful personal encounters with God.

  • The Holy Spirit will minister the Father’s love to you.

  • Teaching from scripture will bring revelation that will transform your heart.

Teaching Topics

1. Elijah is Coming.

The Bible prophesies that God will send the prophet Elijah before the return of Christ to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and children to the fathers. What does this mean and how does it affect us today?

2. Slaves or Sons? Telling the Difference.

We either have a Master-slave or Father-son/daughter view of our relationship with God. Looks at 20 diagnostic signs of the kind of relationship we have and what to do about it.

3. The Radical Necessity of Forgiveness

Forgiveness and mercy are the oil of the Kingdom of God. If we do not forgive, God will not forgive us. How do we truly forgive those who hurt and offend us and thus position ourselves for Father’s blessing?

4. Becoming Sons and Daughters

What are the three origins of the orphan spirit? Looks at God’s antidote to this and how we can become fully free sons and daughters of God, not just in belief, but also in practice.
